The anchor property we track in New York
Curated referenceWe maintain a single anchor reference per city — a well-known property where we keep an up-to-date pre-stay fact sheet (check-in, WiFi, parking, amenities, walking distances). The Waldorf Astoria
301 Park Avenue, New York, NY
The Waldorf Astoria reopened in 2025 after a multi-year, $2 billion restoration that converted the upper floors of the 1931 Park Avenue tower to private residences while preserving the Art Deco public spaces. The hotel sits between Lexington and Park between 49th and 50th — six blocks from Rockefeller Center and ten minutes on foot to Grand Central. Service leans formal; expect a doorman, full concierge, and a notably quiet lobby for Midtown.
